Can my vet do all of these things?

My new pony needs to start a course of vaccinations so the vet is coming out next week. I would also like my pony microchipped, his back checked and his teeth looked at. Can most Equine vets do all of this? I have an EDT due in about a month anyway, but if my vet could take a look as I suspect my pony has not had his teeth done in a long time or his back checked ever.

Just thought it would be easier to get him looked at in one go :O)

Thanks

That depends on your vet.
The senior partner at my surgery I would have total faith in but would hesitate with some of the 'younger' or less experienced vets.

I think Ill give them a ring. The lady vet at the practise I use is lovely, but quite young and a little inexperienced in my opinion. The other man who I personally havent used gets rave reviews from my friends. Ill call them on Monday.

My pony is quite nervous and I think he has been abused in the past, if I can get everything done in one go and not get lots of strangers poking him I think it will be easier. Any idea how much microchipping costs?

I think microchipping was about £10-£15. Unless its for a new passport where you have no choice in having a microchip I would go for freeze marking instead.
