Can Saddle/tack shops open in tier 4?

As per title really... can Saddlery’s open in tier 4? And is it likely I can drive to it from a tier 3 area?

Yes, they can as animal feed is essential, not sure about driving to tier 4 from 3 though.

I just had an email from Naylors saying they were partly open, assume for hats/body protectors

If you can't get animal food in your own tier, surely it is a welfare issue. Not that all saddleries sell feed.

Are they in tier 4, while we are in tier 3? They do sell some feed, I think?

I think they have a shop in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, also Tier 4. I have only bought tackshop type stuff but am pretty sure that they do sell feed at some shops.

Most of the ones round here are staying open even the ones that don't sell horsefeed.

Lots of different restrictions depending on which one, some only selling essential and safety items, some click and collect, some doing hat and body protector fittings, some selling everything but no trying on and no browsing.

I would say if what you need is essential and you cannot get it locally/in your own tier, then i don't see what choice there is.
