(Apologies for the rubbish thread title, couldn't think how to word it)
Just had my horse shod and I was a bit confused about how his shoe has been put on one of his fronts. I only noticed a few hours after the farrier left while I was putting hoof dressing on. His right left is fine, the shoe sits flush with the hoof and looks as normal, his right looks fine from the outside but inside as you look down the foot, you can see the long part if the nail sticking in to the foot, you can feel them with a hoof pick and there's a gap. There's no gap on the outside, but I'd you hoof pick you hit the nails! I'll try to upload photos if I can. I trust my farrier to do a good job, had him years and always been good but this is unusual, and I don't want to bother him with it if there's nothing wrong! the gap is at the toe end, the back sits flush. Thank you
