i am looking for a jointed (pref french link) rugby pelham, in a 5inch. I plan on using it to do showing classes on my pony instead of a double bridle. He is usually ridden in a loose ring snaffle.

Do you think he will be ok ridden in this (obv will use it inbetween shows just not all the time). Also can someone point me in the right direction of one and i seem to be having trouble finding a 5inch that isn't rediculously expensive

I don't think anyone can tell you if your horse will be ok in that bit, without knowing your horse! it's a fairly mild bit if ridden on the top rein (the top bit ring should be fixed to a slip head), I've found ponies who like a french link tend to go well in my french link version.
