**I have had premission from admin**I have three ducks that need rehoming. 1 female Khaki Campbell who lays, and one black indian runner drake and one brown and white runner drake.

Long story short I had a break in where I keep them and had 4 ducks stolen. This was not the first time, and I am now giving up

I have managed to rehome my chickens.

The brown and white runner has a twisted spine and cannot be bred from, he is very much a pet I have had him his whole three years ( I hatched him) and I would like a similar home for him as I cannot bear the thought of him being "bumped off".

I was gonna use the blake drake as a "stud" as I did have two black girls before the break in. But now I have lost complete heart and the thought my others are now prob in someones oven hurts.

I am near Dover if your local I am more than happy to drop them over, I just hope someone can have these guys and girly. Please this is something I never intended to do and goes against my principle of animal husbandry.

Edited to add that admin has given me the OK thank you

Who would steal ducks?

was it Mr Fox?

I have a big pond here in my front garden but I don't suppose they would stay there as there is no fence around it and I guess Mr Fox would get them?

We have chickens but I'm not sure about ducks.

it wasnt mr fox a) my battery hens roost on the floor they werent touched b) no feathers c)the stable door was left wedged open. The ducks and chickens used to live together fine. soooo angry! and upset

Juat a thought, but couldnt you get a run to surround the pen in

My chickens and duck live together in a dog run, with a lock on the door which I lock daily....that way no one can get in to steal them and you wont have to give your ducks away

Don't give up, get some more (it's baby duck time soon!) & make it secure, don't let those thieving scumbags (and Mr Fox) get the better of you

to be honest the type of break ins that happen are caused by people who no what they are doing, ie caravan doors broken, decent chains and padlocks broken. Sorry being really negative it does sound like a good idea though.
