that trotting poles will NOT eat a pony!!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Lat night, I thought, lunging session! But we are getting a bit bored of going round and round in cirlces so I thought, lets put some poles out.
So, trotted over them quite happily, so I popped one up to a little jump, he has done some jumping before and seems to love it.:D
Popped it a few times, then.....drama!!! he knocked it down!!! The look on his face was OMG!!!:eek::eek: its gonna eat me!!!!:eek:Help!!! And theres another one!!! and another one!!!
In the end, I had to trot over each and every bl00dy pole on the floor to prove that they were not hungry!!!
Bless!!!!:D:D:D:D

Hi Donovan

It's Iceni here, I think the pole things the people like us to jump are fairly safe, except for the purple ones. You have to watch the purple ones.

The square things underneath them are a different matter, definatley a bit dodgy but generally there is a pole over the top so I think the poles are actually quite good and protect us from the dangerous coloured square things below them. My mom has one that looks like the wall outside my old stable, very suspicious.

Beau is so dumb and blindly does what our mom asks her that she doesn't even think these are dubious and will jump them without looking at them, I think she may get eaten one day but so far she seems to have been ok and she's older than me so it can't happen very often.

Generally I think if you are careful with the purple ones and try not to step on them or bump into them they are quite safe. If you tred on them or bump into them they can get annoyed and tap your legs to get back at you which stings a bit.

It can be quite fun if you're brave!

Hi Iceni, Donovan here!
Thanks for that, I think there is talk of me having to take my life in my hooves again today over the poles, i will defo look out for those purple ones!
You seem to be quite brave, can you help with my next problem. Mum brought me in from the field this morning, and attacked me with this long yellow thing with water coming out of the end of it! My GOD!!! What is it? It made me very very wet, then very very soapy, so decided to shake all over mum, she was not happy!
What is she trying to do to me?
Don. x
