All pictures taken over a 2 week period ;) thanks you

I think he looks absolutely appalling and the only solution is to send him to me immediately!!!

Seriously, he is lovely. I agree with the others that he varies from pic to pic, the first one he looks a bit on the chubby side but the one in the snow he looks quite a bit leaner.

It depends what you want to do with him, if you have him fit for ridden competitons
he wont do as well in in-hand classes as sadly they still like them better covered for that, although slowly the mesage is getting through about the dangers of obese horses in the show ring.

He was at the horspital recently (Xmas time ) and on the report i recieved by post ..said he is extremely fat :0 the vet never discussed this with me and to be honest I was shocked and a little upset :( yes I know he is plump :/ but I would not say extremely fat ??? If that is what the vet thought why not say at the time ?

I would ahve put him between 6 and 7 in some pictures and 5 in others just shows how difficult it is from pictures
Wouldnt have said he was grossly fat just a bit too heavy especially for the time of year

HE IS DEFINATELY NOT FAT (HE IS NOT THIN)BUT NOT FAT, MAYBE LITTLE PLUMP, BUT NOT THAT FAT ....
IS THAT DOESNT MAKE SENSE I WOULD SAY HES ABOUT A 6 ON THE CONDITION SCORE
;);)

speak to your vet as they have seen your boy in the flesh, if they are saying he is extremly fat they must be concerned for his welfare. its difficult to judge from the photos. in the one where he is stood up in hand he does in my opinion look very fat but i agree with others the other pictures tell a different tale

Just to add the vet was not my regular vet ...and he Ewan's at the vets for a liver problem ..not once did she mention he was extremly fat ..and he had also been on low / walk exercise since October (due to his liver condition) my normal vet is lovely and has never commented on his weight

The boy is only allowed out twice a week for a few hours anyway (due to needing low sugar diet / liver problem :( ) luckily he is a gent about it ;)

I say 7. You would not want him any bigger! It is nearly Feb now and spring grass in coming soon so I would be trying to get his weight down a little slowly:)
