The guy I had out yesterday was really rough with a horse that hadn't had his teeth done before and I'd rather yet someone else out to do my other two youngsters.

Also, would you have the dentist or vet remove wolf teeth?
 
Used to use a guy called Draper? I think they are still around been doing for years Father and son I believe????? While back.
 
sorry if this is resserecting an old thread, but I just used Chiltern Equine vets to do my youngsters teeth for the first time and I couldnt recommend them highly enough! considering my mare can be rather idiotic at times especially when it comes to vets, this vet kept her calm the entire time, did her teeth without any sedation and gave her a huge cuddle and pat afterwards with polos which really helped my girl to relax and hopefully look forward to seeing another vet in the future! There is someone who has been mentioned above in another reply who I would never ever use again after having a rather awful experience with. anyway hope this helps!

Me too, Ive only recently registered with them after having lots of friends highly recommend them and as the dental work was my first experience of their abilities it seems they know what they are talking about and are definate horsey people themselves which really helps especially when dealing with youngsters who you desperatly want to have good experiences with vets and farriers etc. Im glad I chose them now. :)
 
I also use Chiltern Equine and have found them excellent both in terms of the job they do and their attitude and handling of the horses. One of mine needs mild sedation, the other is fine without. I am not sure if this applies to all areas but if we pre-book them for a Thursday and you pay on the day therre is no call out charge so teeth and annual vacs on two, including sedation for one was just over £120, very good value.
