Horrible story, some people are just insanely cruel.
I would rather not have seen the photo either nor the one of the foal with the dead mare.

It has made me feel sick with rage.. that poor poor mare
i do think people need to be made aware in order to gain information, but not with such a graphic photo maybe.

no its really not nice at all and yes maybe a graphic photo warning would have been appropriate.
BUT. . . .
you are all talking about it and will probably mention it tomorrow with your fellow horsey friends so you never know somebody somewhere could hear about it and know something that may give a clue as to who did it and who the poor mare belonged too and all mysteries could be solved.
Now that would be a great result.

This is so disturbing - whats shocking to me is this happened literally a couple of roads away from my yard - and only a few months back there was another horse found in a similar manner just 2 lanes down from there - my friend lives on that road and her 2 kids saw it on the side of the road- what the hell is going on round there?

I totally agree. I am horrified by picture, but by its contents not by the fact that it has been included.

that poor poor pony- i have to say its a horrid pic but it will get people talking and maybe help find who did it. What a horrid evil scum ridden person to do that to an animal
