Ok I was desperate for rain a couple of weeks ago,but enough is enough I've had to source hay as.moving mine back in again, fields waterlogged..why can't our country find a medium weatherwise :-l

Send it to Lincoln! They're desperate for it!!
Lol can we just keep a mini cloud over our farm - my girls paddock to be precise - to keep it soft for her feet!!! Thanks!
K x :D

Please! Any of you who want rain just come and take it! We have had more than enough of it up here this week and we will gladly send it down to you!

Maybe we could make a time share sort of thing?!? You get the rain clouds for a week where you get 1 day of rain, one day of drizzle and one day of overcast weather just to make sure it settles into the ground before sending it onto the next section of the country and so on and so forth until you get to the south coast and then send it back up to the north of Scotland again. If we do this over 5 sections then rain will never be more than 2 weeks away!

I'll try and send ours to you - is coming with heavy gale warnings and the threat of snow on the dessert road.

Fed up with it - the driveway to my new grazing is too muddy for the car now so have to carry everything down to the stables by hand.

Will have to source some gravel to put in the boggy patches.

Had a lot of rain in April, and we were just drying out...except we got more every day this weekend...and this week looks rainy as well. So tired of mud everywhere, and the ground being too wet to ride outdoors :(

I actually felt rain in the wind yesterday but it didn't rain properly. Tbh I just want a good storm and hopefully lift some of this mid year blues that seems to be making everyone I know in a bad mood.

And this countries idea of a happy medium... Is one day it's hot and bright. Then the next it's cold and overcast...

We've had damp air in N Herts a few times but no significant rain since February. Fields are like concrete, grass isn't regrowing when it's been grazed and huge cracks in the ground.

It's been miserable, grey, cold and windy round here, but as of yet - no rain! It should either be sunny OR raining, I'll have no more of these cold, windy, grey yet bone dry days thank you very much :D

We've had plenty of rain but could stand more. Fields are still rock hard although plenty of grass.
Am giggling to myself though...it was only recently everyone was begging for rain. Nowt so queer as folk hey?!

A few months ago I was up to my kness in mud (we are on clay) it was horrible:(

Now we are on 'concrete'..... no rain for months .... you just can't please us horsey people

were having enough rain to make the grass grow but the ground isn't softening up to much....its better than it was but for my big horse id still prefer a bit more bounce

We have water running off the roads, there is so much rain! Have heard there is to be a heatwave at the weekend- bet it's not near us though. :(
