Can you beat Dubarry boots?

Am looking to get some new boots, and looking to take the plunge on some Dubarry boots. Wondered if you have some boots that you think are better.... not just at the yard but dog walking, and fairly wet/muddy daily use!
Thoughts appreciated..

Although if I could I would ADORE a pair im gunning for a pair of spanish boots for smarter things like p2ping/shooting/racemeetings/ event grooming etc - I wouldnt entertain the idea of putting £220 of boots into the mud and poo but thats just moi!
 
I saw these Le Chameau Jameson boots in a shop the other day and fell in love - was wondering if they would be as good as Dubarrys??

If they are half as good as my Le Chameau wellies they are on my Christmas Wish List

Got some Rydale 'Malham' boots at Burghley; fraction of the price and very comfortable. I don't know how long they'll last but they are great for now - and totally waterproof!
 
I'd second Dublin river boots, they are waterproof and breathable (warm but not sweaty) just like the dubarrys, look very similar and cost less than half the price. Mine did me proud as a trader at a very muddy burghley this year!

I wouldn't spend that kind of money on yard/dog walking boots.
 
Hi I can 2nd the thumbs up for the Ryedale boots - bought some at Blenheim 2 years ago and still going strong albeit looking a bit manky now! Husband bought me the Dublin River boots for my birthday so I am keeping them "for best".
 
I have dubarrys and they really are worth it. you do have to look after them..waterproofing, getting off excess mud etc but isnt that to be expected with any good leather boot really?
i would get them as, if you get the right size, they will last you forever!!!
