can you buy bute and anti - inflamitries from vets without vet seeing them ? - i was making my first aid kit bigger today and was wondering this ?

I buy bute from vets wihtout him seeing ahorse, i like to keep it incase.

It depends if your horse has an ongoing problem. My vets will usually give it if your horse has been seen in the last 6 months for a problem that warrants it. My horse has arthritis so my vet will supply me with a box of bute at a time regularly.
