As title really!
I am hoping to see if a transition for my currently bitted TB will go any better in a bitless bridle. Will be trying a hackamore today and have a variety of other bitless versions on hand to try which kind friends have lent me.
If all goes well as I suspect it might, I know that with dressage, horses need to be bitted, does this work the same for showjumping, hunter trials etc....? We are by no means doing anything affiliated and will stick to our small local shows which we will like to try our best in at popping over 2ft 3 courses! But am I right in thinking I won't be able to compete in the above in my hackamore and will need to revert back to a bitted bridle?
