can you feed a horse wild garlic?

i think so, i know one could feed fresh garlic instead of dried garlic so i dont see why not but i would check just in case

Yes, you can. Some of the older hill pony breeders have used it as a sort of wormer before, so it must be safe for them to eat.

Are you allowed to pick it though? Many wild plants are protected these days, you may want to check this!
 
Rather than pick it and feed it would it be easier to graze your horse in hand where it grows? If he wants it he will eat it. Saves you picking it then. We used to have tons of the stuff growing in our woods when I was a child, all the ponies ate it, especially the moorbred exmoors, they used to actually go out of their way to pull the whole plant up and eat the lot. Makes their breath stink!
