People always remark on the size of my horse's feed as if I'm over feeding. Yes, it does look quite a bucket load but it's mostly fibre and she takes ages to munch her way through it. I have a horse who is the perfect weight, fit, healthy and even tempered/contented - basically a gorgeous horse - so what's the problem ?
Morning: One scoop Alpha A oil, half scoop of soaked speedibeet, half measured amount of balancer, carrots
Evening: Two scoops Alpha A oil , one scoop soaked speedibeet, other half of measured balancer, carrots
She lives out but there is very little grass so she also has hay in the field twice a day.
Am I over feeding??
