Can you fix a swayback?

I've become a lot more aware of the fact that there are plenty of older horses with swaybacks (and younger ones too). Everything I've read is basically telling me it is mainly caused by either old age and hard riding. However, what I've found hasn't told me what I'd like to know- is there a way to reverse a sway back? I ask mainly out of curiosity, but I also have an 18yo gelding who's back is slightly dipped (not a full blown swayback, but it could eventually develop into one). It's not bothering or hindering him right now, but possibly it could become much worse in a few years (if I do actually know what I think I do about swaybacks.) So I'm wondering if there's some sort of exercise or something like that that will fix a swayback or strengthen back muscles and support a horse's back so that the issue is resolved?
Thanks everyone!

What a fantastic job that girl did with that pony I do remember the original thread.

One of my Arab's is a bit dipped lack of work can make it look worse I have managed to improve it with correct work and the saddle.

Carrot stretches, tail pulls pole work, make sure they are working through the back lateral work to strengthen the core.

You need a really good saddle fitter and quite often you will need to get a wider saddle and shim it to allow the top line to develop.
