One of mine looks fab in brown (brown spotted) tack and he is turning out to have a very very nice way of going so mum asked me if brown tack is okay for dressage and do they do brown dressage saddles?
I didn't know so I though I would ask you lot :)

Of course you can!

I have a brown dressage saddle and have had some lovely comments about it. Black isn't traditional it is a relatively recent fashion.

My dressage tack is black but plenty of people compete in brown tack, you will be fine. Just one thing to consider is the shade of brown. I was writing at a BD show a few weeks back and somebody rode in on a very posh chestnut with a very expensive looking saddle that was a very red shade of brown. The judge decided it was ok but she did spend a few minutes deciding if it was allowed or not.

BD RULES 2015
Saddles must be worn and be of English or Continental style and must be brown, black, grey or navy. Side saddles and treeless saddles are permitted. Western style, traditional Iberian or Arabian or brightly coloured saddles are not permitted
