Can you help me design my horsebox?

I am getting a coach built horsebox made for me and my horses. I have got to decide the breast to tail length soon. Obviously I can measure my horses, but how much additional length would you allow? I should explain that the horses will be forward facing. My horses are large so if the box will cope with them then it will cope with any horse. Thank you.

Mine is 8'9 I think nose to tail. Mine is rear face so no breast bar. That would be a little too large for a smaller horse if it wanted to mess around, where I would go for 8'6.

Thank you. I am planning on another 33" for breast to nose probably on top of 8' breast to tail. My horses are 18hh+ so need their space, and I can measure them obviously. Just wondering how much extra space to add.

At the size I have mine, I also have a 4' stall width so they do stand slightly diagonally. If the stall width was narrower then they would need more space. My internal height is 8ft, that one is important IMO.

Good point - stall width will be generous in the design. Should be a good height too.
