Can you help please?

My friend recently spent £200 on bits for her new double bridle. Her horse is now leaning and she's been told by someone else who sells bits that she needs a different weymouth. She's currently got a forward port and apparently needs a low, wide port. Anyone know where you can try/hire them because it's getting very expensive and may not help!!
