Hello I was wondering if I could have some help from you lot. I live in a cottage next door to a small farm/livery yard where I and a few others keep their horses. The family that lives there rents the farm and makes their living through DIY livery. Recently there has been a planning application made to build on the land surrounding the farm. This is one of the few green spaces in the area (it is In Bradford I might add - we need all the help we can get!) and we and many others are attempting to petition against the proposed building. There gas recently been two new housing estates built within 200m of the farm, not including the huge Cote Farm estate built a few years ago. Please help save our farm!
Find more info here: http://www.handsoffidleandthackley.co.uk/ any help would be greatly appreciated. Every little helps.
Thanks :)

What's the application for? Houses I assume? Is it greenbelt or brown belt? Problem is they are trying to build everywhere. There's due to be 1500 houses built on a couple of fields near me, plus a school and other amenities I believe. We already have loads of supermarkets and I live on a rather sprawling estate. I think it seems Yorkshire has been targeted to build more houses that many other counties, I am not sure why? Really p*sses me off quite frankly when they could spend the money regenerating other areas and removing the boarding of the 100s of houses that are sat empty!
