Can you phone dressage judges on saturdays?

I'm trying to organise my university riding competition anf for the past 2 months I have been trying to get the riding school to confirm the date. Fingures crossed they are going to rng be back really soon to finally confirm it. But that just leaves me 5 weeks to find a dressage judge! Is is OK to phone dressage judges on saturdays to ask them to judge!

And if there are any List 5 judges or above and would like to judge BUSA available on Wed 14th Feb in the Glasgow area please PM me

the day or the hour nevers seems to stop organisers calling me!! Prefer Sat during day than late evenings when i am knackered myself!

I've been having a nightmare trying to organise my uni competition too, and I'm still having a problem with funding (we may have to pay for it ourselves). The riding school has changed the dates twice, and only told us last week that we have to have one competition next Sunday (there is no alternative!).

When I'm phoned about judging I don't mind when it is as long as it's not after 9pm (when I might be in bed!)

Virtual - We get funding from pubs and bars for our university riding club. A local pub gives us money for us holding our riding club meetings in there and that goes towards our club competitions.

We have another sponsor as well an hopefully that money will subsidise the riding lessons for non team members. Do your club go out on regular socials where you could get all members to go into a bar for a drink or something every week or fortnight?
