Can you put red on a chestnut?

Seen the most gorgeous little browband/numnah set which I would love to get for my friends son for christmas, only its bright red and his pony is chestnut. Would it look really awful?

Well hes only four, so more for my friends benefit than his to be honest! I think he would rather have a big red tractor!

Be vary afraid!! It was 10 years ago though: should say that is the toned down version 0 he had a red webbing bridle to - owners choice NOT ours! Anyone else remember those wintecs??

Yes I used to use red on my bright bay mare.

Just avoid pink!

I get taken the mick out of by my friends as I put purple on my chestnut!lol!
