Not off out tonight so trying to amuse myself
The first one, I can recommend, is a Platinum range Mattes Numnah, which I have had now for over 4 years and still going strong. The reason I brought this product was that my TB has very sensitive skin and due to the long distance pleasure riding we were doing, I needed something that was protective and yet did not cause bulk. So I chose this product as it had, what was the unique (at the time, but may not be now) spine free construction see SeeHere
I was also using on both my horses the Mattes Platinum Range Seat Saver, and was pleased with the quality of those.
See attached picture of the numnah 5 years on (sorry it is not clean) . Not bad really, as it is still used regularly and apart from the black now being a shade of blue and the Velcro on the Girth Straps showing wear, it fluffs up perfectly and still has years of use.
My second recommendation is the Oster Tail and Main Brush. I was always told that you should never go out of the yard with Straw or Shavings in the horses tail, and I am a stickler for it. Both my horses have lovely thick mains and tails and I love to see them looking tidy. This is the only type of product that is man enough for the job!! Other makes are available now though, but perhaps not as strong
Here are some piccies from yesterday, sorry the sun is not in the right place, but you get the gist (sp)
