Can you recommend a good balancer to add to feed?

My Granddaughter's Welsh Section A pony is very prone to laminitis. We soak her hay nets and have been advised to give her a balancer each day to make up for the nutrients we lose during soaking. The one she's been having costs nearly £30 per bag! I know it does last quite a long time but wondered if there is anything else to use. (Sorry can't remember the brand we have been using) .Also she tends to leave the balancer pellets in her bucket and just eats round them!

Anti lam is not a balancer but a bit/min supplement, personally you could add a powdered vit supplement into a handful of chaff at a fraction of the cost

Usually a balancer is a vit and min supplement with a bit of high quality protein ( usually linseed )and bit of oil ( usually soya )added .
So you can feed a good general supplement ( something like 365 complete a bit of linseed and glug of soya oil and be about the same place .
