Can you recommend a decent pair of trimmers please? Nothing too budget breaking, as I have full on proper clippers, but I have a clipper phobic ned and am hoping that a decent set of trimmers would allow me to just give him a small bib clip before his coat gets too thick.

Thanking you kindly!
:)

Lister but I've forgotten their name! Sorry. Cordless cost about £60. Coat looks just like proper clippers. My clipper shy pony even let me do parts of his head with them.

My Mum has these mini Listers - and I can't remember their name either! However, she has used them for a number of gullet clips on ones which are scared of her proper clippers, and they've managed fine (inc hairy ponies).

Moser artiko, fabby for one horse owner with small clips to do or trimming legs etc, my lad is to sensitive on legs for large clippers even though can do his head! but stands all day with these on his legs - fabby - so many folk ask me about them as so quiet - around £120 but worth it

I have a 17hh wb who is terrified of clippers. Therefore I use men's hair clippers from Tesco at £6 a set. I've done a blanket clip with them today. Took me over an hour but they are almost silent. Bargain. However they won't go through a greasy coat but fly through my warm bloods soft coat. Fab for whiskers, fetlocks and mane hogging.
