Can you recommend me a Saddler: Cambridge

Which part of Cambridgeshire are you?

The only people that I trust now are Bridlepath, there is a fabulous fitter called Ali and she will not try and sell you anything. She also does alterations (small) on site, I guess if it was a full flocking she would have to take it away. After being screwed over by so many of the local saddlers it was refreshing to get someone who wasn't trying to sell me something I didn't need!

I would not advise West essex saddlery, I had the master saddler from there (Martin) come to see my horse. He sold me a brand new saddle which was very expensive and after several weeks of saddle related problems, I had it checked by someone else, I was told it fitted horrendously.
Just wanted to warn you.

You could try Lavinia Mitchell, although she's not in cambridgeshire I dont think. Ive heard nothing but good things about her and if I go back to treed saddles, Id use her.

I think you mean Malcolm! and yes recently I got a full refund on a brand new saddle that he sold me that didn't fit my horse

Bridlepath or Mark Fisher would be all I'd use (having had no experience of Clippopop (sp)) - there is another male cambs saddler mentioned above I personally wouldn't touch with a bargepole having seen some of his fittings!
