Can you set a 10 sec countdown then a count up from zero on an Optimum event watch??

Can you set the optimum watch so that when the starter gives you 10 seconds, you can press a button and it gives you the 10 sec countdown then starts counting up from zero to your time??

Not sure on the new ones but the old ones you couldn't, used to just set the time as 10 or so seconds longer and then press it when they start the countdown.

Short answer - no. You just add 10 seconds to the optimum time

No , but if you use countdown rather than up, you just add 10 seconds when you set it and the minute markers will still be in the right place if you start it when the starter gives you 10 seconds. If that makes any sense?

Mine does and that’s exactly how I use it…it’s a series 3
