Can you use a flash for showing?

Stupid question really, but have not done much showing and wondered if it was allowed to use a flash.

I am not sure if it is technically allowed. But I would not use a flash unless doing WH. I think a double bridle or rugby pelham or snaffle with plain cavesson is more correct.

EC is correct - flashes are only used in the working hunter classes.
