Can you wash a BP?

I have an Airowear Outlyne BP, it gets worn every time I get on my horse, and to be honest it's now a bit smelly.
Can you wash a BP? If so, how? Is it a dry cleaning job?

I just give mine a bit of a gentle scrub with mild detergent and leave to air dry. But to be 100% safe you should probably contact the manufacturer for advice.

No idea, mine's never been smelly so never crossed my mind to wash it. If I fall off and get mud marks on the outer then I simply use a babywipe!

Not sure we have the exact same one as it's in the car and I can't be bothered to wander outside in the heat and look, but the previous one (not sure of make) you could unvelcro flaps and take the foam out, so I washed it on a gentle machine wash and when dry put the panels back. Think there were washing instructions on it.

Thank you - mines about 18 months old. I'll have a look tonight, though haven't ever noticed an openings on it, from memory it's a sealed unit of you know what I mean!

I've never washed mine but I'm sure it's got Velcro so you can take the foam out of the outer material and wash that?

You're absolutely right - there are washing instructions on it. You know I've never noticed that!
