hire clippers out????? (this is a stupid question ,but i just wondered),

our 2 horses need clipping soon and we usually have someone come out to do it, she does a very nice job, but she has reently broken her foot so wont be doing any clips this winetr. i have always wanted to have a go at clipping but dont really want to fork out a lot of money for something that will only be used a couple of time a year

anyne any ideas??????

One of the tack shops in my area hires clippers out - think its a £50 deposit and £30 for the day's hire, might be worth asking around your local tack shops

Yes you can hire clippers, but often works out as expensive as paying someone to clip

Be wary of borrowing friends clippers as if you drop them or they break on you, it could be a recipe for disaster.

Unless you're borrowing clippers from a friend I think that it is better value to pay someone to come & clip using their own clippers. Hiring them costs virtually the same as hiring someone to clip for you.
