Feed a dog the odd raw meal a week and it be ok? Or bits added to original food but just cut down slightly. So the odd heart etc.?

You're fine feeding raw days or raw meals as long as there is a good space of time between the meals, feeding raw and dry at the same time is not recommended as the food travels through the gut at different speeds.
My older dog has raw days because he cannot tolerate it all the time.

Well this is what we are going to do with our LH pup, we have her on raw but half the time she wont eat it and it ends up getting thrown out. We have ordered Orijen for her as she dosnt like Fish4dogs.
