What are your aims for the next year?

I for one will.......... WILL start doing directional changes properly (rather than pointing and hoping for the best)... I WILL find an actual obedience class and not a general pet dog one... And I WILL perfect his instant drop when pegging it towards something he wants to chase/sniff etc :D oh and I WILL reintroduce the whistle!

So tell me your plans with your dogs!? I'm feeling uninspired!

Get the little monster to an obedience class .. Find it absolutely hillarious how he pretends he's a completely stupid/deaf dog the majority of the time but if there is a bit of turkey involved he instantly knows every command again

My little pooch is actually doing very well at the moment. Recall is as good as I think it will ever get (She is a terrier... bunnies are fun - apparently!), she is slowly realising being alone isn't so bad and she is now far more confident around other dogs :)

Next year our huge focus will be adjusting to the new baby / walking by the pram. Work with her seperation anxiety will be a constant thing with her.

She has been hard work in her little life but I am now able to just enjoy her :) I have to keep reminding myself that I'm having a baby so can NOT get another border pup...

I also want to do our Bh and IPO1.

I really ought to do more tracking and teach her to speak! I also want to build more drive and convince my partner to learn to take a bite correctly!

But we will see :)

1. Get placed in Novice obedience (won out of beginners this year)
2. Get placed at Crufts 2013
3. Enjoy my dogs
4. Possibly get a new puppy, if I find a breeding i like
5. My old lady to celebrate her 11th birthday (14/1/2013) nd keep her fit and healthy
6.Lily to carry on enjoying her obedience training and to invest in some one to one training

D has her first agility comp in February - I'd like very much for her to be placed at unaff this year and some clear runs at grade one. I'd be happy with our first agility rosette of any kind. :)

R is to defend his title at Shrops County Show, I am quite fond of the silver tea tray and would like it to remain on the mantelpiece!

We've got all the gear and a solid foundation in training for mushingy stuff, I just haven't been able to afford the time off work to get to rallies this season (and it's been a washout anyway) - next year I want some rally placings. R is running like a demon at the moment, he has really found his niche as a solo bikejor dog, he outstrips D for speed and endurance. Totally different dog in a harness. :)

Willow will spend most of the year being a puppy and starting puppy classes at gundog club next weekend :) hopefully she will complete her level 1 and 2 by the end of the year :) I would like olly to complete his level 2 but just not sure he is interested enough in retrieving!! I would like to have a go at a bit of agility with him for fun :)

My plans for this year........................to get my dear, sweet 3yr old Labrador bitch (2 cruciate reconstructions and a snakebite) through a year without any medical trauma!

I'd like to get Mouse competing in agility again this year as not done so for the last two
Also like to find Dora's brain cell so can train her and get her competing, she's old enough this year
Going to get shouted at for this one lol :p
Am going to be breeding from Bridget middle-end of this year, got a very nice imported working/show dog lined up for her, his first litter look very smart and Bridget's was an excellent first litter :D

Echodomino as long as parents are both tested and you have ample homes lined up for them no one will tell you off!
On aims this year- get out on a shoot, aiming end of Jan but don't think it will happen unless he has a personality change!
Also to continue our gun dog training and maybe do level 1&2 depending if he gets out shooting this season or not.
We are also hoping to go to chatsworth game fair with gun club and do a team scurry!

Start the year with young Eddie the Beagle taking a short trip to Balls Landing, and coming home without his:D

Give old Muttley the best life we can until it is time to say goodbye.

Get Badger the JRT fit again, he is slipping into comfortable middle age, and we need to turn back the clock, or at least slow it down somewhat!

Biggest goal though, get the hounds to actually be useful when we are out hunting:D

1) continue searching for the "perfect recall" Holy Grail...
2) develop our training
3) enjoy first time showing at Crufts
4) HOPEFULLY get a really nice show pup (on waiting list but dep on what is produced/ numbers etc.) to be our second pet dog.

Yes both parents tested, Bridget was done in prep for her first litter early last year and the dog was done before he was imported :D More often than not have a decent waiting list, she's not due in season until June and that's if the monkey cooperates, she was 2 or 3 months late coming in last time
