I just thought I would share a couple of pictures - I took the second one today and was very happy with what I saw comparing it to a year ago. :)

5 years old:

Sorry, very self centred post, but I'm just so happy with him right now. :) x

Very nice indeed :)

He's certainly grown in front - I like him alot

Thanks everyone! :)

WR - he definitely has grown up in front and is also now working more uphill from behind. It's hard to see sideways on, but he's definitely beginning to build muscles in the right place when you look at him back end on. It will be interesting to compare pictures again next year - hopefully the two ends will match a bit better then. :)

Lovely pictures - can definitely see the levelling out over the year. You also keep him wonderfully clean :) (compared with my pics of my grey! - well, yellow and grey) ;)

Very nice! What a difference a year makes to them :)

Thank you - I try to take fairly regular pictures of him stood up in roughly the same place so I can compare. :)

Thank you! :) He's not always clean - does this make you feel any better?

Off to have a look at your pictures. :)

Lovely horse. Great change! How much has he grown in this past year? - (I'm ever hopeful my filly will have a growth spurt! - different breed completely mind!!)

Thank you! :smile3: I bought him last May at 15.2 hh and confirmed that with my rather ropy ebay special measuring stick. I measured him early on this year at around 15.3 hh when he looked pretty level front and back, but not since as I don't want a 16 hh horse. No reason other than psychological! :redface3:

A FB friend shared this earlier - no idea how accurate it is, but it may give you hope!

He looks fab! What a change, especially noticeable at the front end from the photos. It's so rewarding seeing them grow and change. This is why I especially enjoying bringing on young horses, it's so exciting to see them maturing into something special.

Thanks! I agree - the front end looks like a grown up horse. Hopefully this time next year the back end will follow suit. :smile3:
