Today I took Herbie for a hack. I got a little carried away and we were out for ages. We left home at 9:30 and got back at 12:30.
We had such a fun time trotting, cantering and jumping logs and stuff.
In that whole 3 hour hack we didn't set foot on a road, not one single hoof. Also the only bit of the ride that was repeated was the driveway to the yard :D

I'm so lucky to live were I do. I have the most amazing hacking ever. :)

For the Herbie fans here are afew pics of my little man chilling in the strip behind my lodge.

Aww I know the feeling pringle and I did the same thing, told my husband I was only going for a little gallop and ended up going up on to the moor for hours. :D I love the hacking here although there's lanes it's quiet and I love a bit of road work. Don't you just love days where you can get lost together!

Fools Motto thankyou. I am so lucky esp now I have direct forest access. :D

EffyCorsten It's great isn't it. I didn't realise how long we had been out. I looked at my phone at one point and it was 10:30 then didn't look again till we were at home.

HeHe its lovely, I think we left at about 10.30 and got back at 13.30 my husband must have thought I was in a ditch somewhere :/
