My horse rolled in wet mud and it has dried to a concrete-like state. I used every tool in my grooming kit to try and scrape it off, including a metal curry comb, which wasn't liked. I managed to clear the area of the saddle and girth area,but then had to give up and go out with a VERY muddy horse.
Any ideas? The only thing that works is painstakingly attack every lump with my fingers. Or wait until the winter coat falls out ...............................
