He's probably standing at a funny angle, yes, he's has a pretty head but not enough to make a post like this about. He's a bit fat but nothing that can't be sorted with some management.
He sounds a little superstar and I would happily buy him for a child if the advert is true.
Honestly, haven't you got anything better to look at this time of year? !!

I have to agree with your last question Hh.

Some people have far too much time on their hands, if they have some to spare to go trawling websites for ads to criticise on a forum.

I do wonder what their own horses (if they have any) look like?

He sounds fab and is obviously well loved, I am assuming that it is a very bad angle, and wow, how much do they want !!!!

Yes but how much is your kids life worth. I spent 6 months trying to find a pony like this one sounds to be. The one I eventually found was about the same shape as this one. Smashing pony, luckily we didn't have a lot of grass otherwise she could have been hard to manage.

yes sadly overweight as are many horses and ponies around uk ( mine being one who is rugless all winter and stable everynight in summer-( oh she waits for the backlash with a smile ) sadly the show scene pushed for this for some years and only now some areas are starting to sit and think - but a pretty pony who when toned and fit will be a cracker mmm def a little cracker - but worthy of a post on here ? come on guys may I say its a tad harsh to post on here - sorry only read first page of replies as got bored :) are we all so perfect? :) xx

"are we all so bored"

no, actually, i for one am not bored

obese ponies such as this are NOT the norm...and neither should they be bought, sold or owned as such.

I would be SO embaressed to own a pony as fat as this, let alone advertise it...and no, it doesnt wash if it sat at the table during the Last Supper...

Very smart pony who'll be much loved. I think the angle of the photo is making a slightly tubby pony look obese- we have photos of a pony who looks like this, but other angles make you realise he was just slightly chubby...

I agree some people do go out of their way to find fault but this pony is shockingly fat and a prime candidate for laminitis one of the most painful and potentially fatal illnesses a horse can get - certainly nothing to be complacent or dismissive about.

Having said that I'm sure it is a struggle to keep weight off such a pony and he looks like a lovely chap I really hope he finds a lovely home.

LOL, so did I.

So what do you have to do to become a saint, not that I have any chance of achieiving it. Can people still become them or did they close the books a thousand years ago.

I believe you have to perform a certain number of verified miracles. It is still possible though :) I don't think they have to happen whilst your alive either. Like if a statue of you bleeds that counts for example

I think this is right anyway!

you don't have to trawl websites for hho ads.. they appear over there >>>>>>
which is why they frequently come up for discussion ;) pony is unacceptably obese and was the subject of a similar thread a couple of weeks back.

Exactly this

I love the "don't you have anything better to be doing posts", if you're so busy busy busy why are you wasting time on an internet forum :confused:

I find it quite worrying that so many people think this pony is not obese. Perhaps that is why laminitis is on the increase. Sounds a nice chap but would certainly need to lose a lot of weight to ensure that he stayed around with no related health problems.
