He is carrying more weight than I'd want but not obese. There is no create or pad behind the shoulder. It's a big grassy gut that needs working off. Not ideal but could be solved. He should like a dream. I hope he finds a knowledgeable home where they will get some of that gut shifted.

I'd take the picture as a bonus. It's very clear from the fact that he has no crest (provided his feet aren't full of ridges) that you don't have to panic about this pony getting a bit too much food and blowing up with laminitis at the slightest excuse. For a small pony, that's a real selling point! You can get the fat belly off, he sounds a treasure.

Sorry but I disagree, in my books he is obese whether he is cresty or not that gut (and hindquarters) are far too large!

:) You'd have to be careful with the colour of the bow.

Red for Christmas would be a terrible clash :eek:. Green or silver maybe :rolleyes:? I love the colouring too, smart little chappie.
