Well done for being so very brave and unselfish, keep them memories safe in your head and time will heal, when you feel down, think of the daft things you both did look at sky and see the stars twinkling and be in the knowledge that she will be looking down on you everyday.

She's gone. It went smoothly. We let the 2 geldings spend some time with her & then Ollie & I stayed with her until the hunt came. She walked over to me & almost put the headcollar on herself & as I walked her through to the other paddockshe shook her bad leg as if she was telling me it was the right thing to do.
Sleep well my precious one.
 
Just seen this. I am so very sorry but pleased for you and Pickle that it all went smoothly and peacefully.

I am soo sorry, she looks very sweet, i remember the day my boy was put down, i'll never forget it.
RIP danny my special horse, you'll be in my heart forever.
