Morning guys, thought i'd join the rest of you Insomniacs as it's too hot and i've got so much going round in my little head! Basically our yard is being sold after only being open for 3 yrs, i'm so sad as we've got a great group of people and i've been there from day one!

Sorry it chucked me out before i could finish my ramblings! Anyways, they told us they were selling it as a going concern but i looked at the agents details yesterday and it is being sold as an arable farm not one mention about the horses even the school has been listed as a cattle shed with sand and rubber floor! We were going to try to wait it out as really don't want to move but think i have no choice but to go, and quick! :-(

did they have planning for school, and were they paying rates, prob doing horses on quite to avoid extra expense.

Unfortunately mon i have a nasty feeling you're right which is horrible as i hate being lied to, also 40 horses to find homes for is no mean feat! Thanks violetstripe, fingers crossed! X

It's sad when a yard is sold, specially when it's being marketed as something different. Waiting it out may work but as you say, if it is sold as something other than a yard then suddenly 40 horses are trying to find new stbles etc which is a lot for an area to absorbe. I think you are doing the right thing by trying to find another yard quickly.
