not long now to go, mid april. love having my boy tucked up in bed but looking forward to the break. It seems to have lasted forever this winter, so so fed up of mucking out, filling nets, changing rugs, struggling to fit in time to ride. Mid april I can do him whatever time of day is convienient instead of having to do before 9 and then again before 4. Anyone else looking forward to the freedom of 24 hour turnout.

Ours have been out for a week. I'm loving the extra time and the money it saves. Would much rather be spending money on lessons and competing than on shavings. Lil is much happier out, only problem now is that I can't catch the evil creatures!

Orks is out full time now - he only came in over the weekend or bad weather but he is so messy I was spending £5 a week on bedding.

Yay to longer nights and riding after work!

Ours go out on the 1st of May, so still got a while but i am counting down the days! can't wait :D
This winter seems to have dragged and last summer we had strangles so missed all of the summer!

Had most of mine on 24/7 turnout all winter although they do come in during the day for a couple of hours for a kip, hay, feed and to ride. Three did come in during the winter (1 in at night and out during the day and 2 in during the day and out at night) and I do agree with you, it has been a slog.

Ours have been out for over a week now as the weather has been so good, and it’s bliss! So much less work. Bodey is much happier out, Badger wants to be wherever there is more food and attention. :)

Ours have been out for a couple of weeks now - 2 are out 24/7 all year round but the other 2 clipped ones are now chucked out too. We got bored of mucking out and they never really seemed to want to come in so they got their wish and out they were left! Lol

Having to give them a fair bit of hay though as there's no grass but they'll go in our other field in a coupel of weeks and will forget all about hay then I am sure! Roll on summer! :-)

We've just got ours turned out throught the day again, because the fields were so wet. It's great - 1 bale of straw a week and 1 bale of hay. Half the mucking out.....

They'll be out 24/7 soon. Can't wait.

i chucked mine out 2 days ago, big relief. trouble is, they are all standing by the gate asking to come in, they like being spoilt!
i've got the stables ready in case it rains a lot later, might take pity on them...
