Don't worry, I'm not going to update this thread every time we canter!
But yesterday evening we had a wonderful, long, sensible canter. She was strong at first, but once I slowed her to a sensible speed, she kept the pace and I was able to hold her there and just enjoy it as opposed to constantly dialling the speed back over and over. We even had a short canter somewhere suitable but where I wouldn't normally due to stopping distance/reliability. What a good pony she is, and what a difference not being a passenger makes
