canter pole distances

can any one help and let me know the rough stiding for canter poles for a 13.2 pony who has a fairly long stride for her size! have tried google but it varied from 4-9 strides so gettting a bit confused now!

I do four of my strides for my 16.1 hh which would be approx 12 feet. I would think maybe 10 feet for your pony but it can be a bit of trial and error.
 
Try 3 (human strides) and see how that goes
