Car boot doors

Random question after reading the car crate thread... can you get gates for car boots for a Nissan Micra?

I have to leave Henry in the car sometimes and it would be nice to leave the boot open instead of just the windows (NB I would nenver leave him on a hot day with only the windows open!).

If not I might have to geta tie-out cable and leave the boot open with him lashed to the inside instead

I know you are probably joking but I had a GSD we tried that with once and it ended with a half-garotted dog and a very traumatised eight year old (me) who suddenly found themselves missing a cheese and pickle sandwich

LOL - no sense no feeling...

If I do get a cable it will either be long enough to allow him to get safely to the ground... not an ideal solution though would much rather get boot gates...

Alternatively I might leave him in the body of the car but with the boot open as the dog guard will stop him escaping...

You should be able to because a lot of companies will make them to order as well as the standard models. Try MMG, Barjo, Croft, Lintran - they're the main ones but there are loads
