Car owners/ mechanics - advice?

Hi All,

I just sold my Discovery yesterday, it has been running fine with me no problems. Now the guy who bought it has left message on my phone today saying it drove home fine last night but won't start today.

Where he is it is quite a few degrees colder then where I am, could this be something to do with it?

Battery is not that old either.

Any help or advice welcome!

I know, I've spoken to him since and he is fine about it, he was just wondering if I had ever had any probs.

Feel bit bad, plus I loved that car and was really sad to see it go!

Is it diesel and the older model?

Our disco struggles to start when the temp gets really cold sometimes...

Is he waiting for the coil light on the dash to go out before attempting to start it? My old Disco played up in the cold weather and sometimes needed a few sessions on the coil light before it would fire up.
