I have had Foxy for 2 weeks now, she is a terrier cross and about a year old. I have had her brother for just over a year. We have just about nailed the toilet training (she was an outside dog), but am having problems with her being sick in the car - she is often sick just going 400 yards down the road. She is fine straight away afterwards.

What is the best way to get her used to the car? She travels calmly with Scooby, but it obviously upsets her.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Try giving her ginger or pepermint...they are a natural anti sickness....you could also try a crate in the boot covered to lessen the motion of travelling...allow her to sit in it when the car is stationary feasting on a nice treat....at these times dont drive anywhere otherwise she will hurl the treat back up...lol

just allow her to assosiate the car with something positive.
Try the peppermint/ginger first though u might not need to do the rest.
