On the day of 23rd April 2007 our well loved family member and our car was stolen in the Doncaster area (South Yorkshire).

George is an 11 week old Great Dane puppy and was due for micro-chipping and his second lot of vaccinations next week. He was wearing a collar with our address and phone number attatched but the people who did this awlful thing have made no contact to return him to us.

As you can all apreciate we are terrified as the people who stole him will know nothing about feeding him etc.
He will be afraid and alone in unfamiliar surroundings. We just want him back home safely to us.

Please could you help us by looking out for him on your travels.

Distinguishing Feature - A scar approx 1 inch long in his inner ear lobe.

As you can see from the picture enclosed George is an usual colour and has very unique markings. As i am sure you are all aware George will grow very fast and will not stay this way for long.

Our contact details are;

07742 407119
or
07778047754

Thank you for your help.
Please dont forgret about us, even if months should pass by, we just want our companion back.

Thank you
Best wishes

this is what happened.

They live in Worksop but her husband is a builder and was working in 'Bessecarr' ( Doncaster ), he parked his dark blue Nissan Navara which had an enclosed back containing the dog outside the property they were working on.
The Nissan was on the drive, a man walked into the house and took the keys to the nissan then drove off in it with the pup in the back.

the pup ( George ) was not yet chipped, but he had a tag with his owners name and address.

The Nissan has not been found yet, reg YN56 KNB, its a large 4 wheel drive with an enclosed back.

perhaps they will try selling him in a local paper, or on the web somewhere its worth a look.

How awfull for you, I leave my dogs in the car with windows open for obvious reasons.I cant imagine what you must be feeling like. I really hope you find him, my thoughts are with you. Let us know how it goes. xxxxx

I've just checked that he is on the Doglost website and he is. They will give you all the help you need. Get as many posters as you can printed and hand them out to people in the street, post them on every lampost, get newspapers to print articles and go to radio stations and even TV channels. Contact ITV to get the story on Paul O'Gradys show. It's all about making the dog 'too hot to handle'. It won't be worth the hassle and hopefully they'll give him up. Good luck

how awful - - dog theft is becoming more and more common these days -I will post this information on to the other forums I belong to

A friend told me about this yesterday, his parents were the breeders of this puppy. Such a sad thing to happen, cant imagine how they must be feeling.
The advice that oneofthepack has given is great, do try to get the info spread.
Good luck, i hope he is reunited soon!
