Caravanning at a Dog Show!! MANY Pics

We had our first experience of caravanning at a dog show this weekend! It was really great, very relaxing to not have the stress of getting up at some ungodly hour and get me, dog and show kit in the car and drive several hours to the show. We got up, took the dog in for its class, came back out and sat at the caravan til the next class. Except on hound/toy day when it was chaos as we had 3 dogs all due in the ring at pretty much the same time and only two of us handling them But it all worked out well!


Anyway, here's lots of pictures of the weekend. Only a couple of the dogs in the ring sadly as didnt have a photographer on hand for the others!lol But lots of random shots at the caravan.

Maya was fascinated by this hairy dog, it went past 3 or 4 times in about half an hour and she watched it til it was out of sight each time!

I remember me, my mum and my nan and two GSDs spending entire show weekends in a Fiat Uno, hahaha!

Haha! Good luck, Maya would have a panic attack if anyone tried to steal her away from her mummy! She fell out of the caravan window and got lost and the people "next door" grabbed her, you should have seen her wriggling and struggling when they were holding her, she came running up to me as if to say "mum, those people STOLE me!!!"

It was great fun though, the dogs all loved it! And Ruby the parrot cant be left behind of course lol

Looks like you had a fab weekend, I love camping at agility shows with my mob. How many altogether? I kept losing count lol

Maya fell out of the window twice!! Thank God she is so pretty or else she'd have nothing going for her lol She couldnt understand that everytime she led on the backs of the chairs along the windows and leaned back she would fall out of the window... It upset her terribly! lol

And yes, the handsome black man is Herbie's daddy Beau! He was looking a bit gormless in the pic as he'd just woken up!

In all we had 5 labs, 5 pugs, 1 chi, 1 basenji and 1 parrot

not just me that's mad lol - only got the 3 JRTs now but when I was living with my parents we had 7 Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas, 1 German Wirehaired Pointer and 3 JRTs - just lacking the parrot lol

Wonderful pictures, they all look as if they are loving it. I had many happy weekends in a caravan at agility shows, but it certainly was chaos think 4 GSDs and one young child, for a brief time a baby was added into the mix, but that obviously proved too much for ex as he moved on to another competitor without children.

Lovely pics. I love caravanning at Flyball tournaments. we create a garden for the dogs using the orange or blue plastic netting and electric fence posts. The dogs love it, it means they don't have to stay in their cages too much.

Lovely pics, everyone looks so relaxed. Thats not actually a caravan though is it.....its a mobile zoo! Brilliant that the parrot came too.
