Hi All,
Hoping you can help me. Basically I'm looking for a riding school in Cardiff that has the capacity to challenge a rider at equivalent stage 3/4 level of riding with good horses and AI level or above instructors.
I was riding at Trent Park equestrian in London and was so happy with the service and quality of tuition and the horses they put me on were more than fab! You know the types that can perform advanced dressage movements but not neccessarily easy to ride as well as the odd school master (hope that makes sense)! It was just so nice to go to a yard and to be recognised as a good rider and get given quality mounts and be challenged in the lesson.
I know its important to ride all types of horses at all levels but when you cannot afford to have your own horse and are looking to progress in 1 hour a week and paying a fair amount of money a month I think it's not too much to ask to get some challenging good quality tuition with well schooled horses that can perform a range of movements at a competitive level.
I was moving onto canter pirouettes last lesson at trent park, but at the current Cardiff yard I'm riding in closed order and get to canter a 20m circle (if I'm lucky twice) then go home. I don't want to mention the name of the yard as I want to see what yards are recommended first and what experiences you guys have had.
