Carl Hester elastic reins - anybody use them??

I have a set, not that impressed but I could see them helping if your hands move a lot try using elastic side reins does the samething.
 
I was going to buy some, but as they can't be used under BD rules I thought what's the point?

You would be better to get a cheap set of elastic inserts from e:bay tbh.
 
I am lucky, my hands don't move really. I was just interested in hearing from people who have them really. Thanks for the replies. Appreciated.
