Caroline Moore

I listened to a podcast featuring her quite recently - I was blown away by her outlook . An amazing person. She was also such a force for change in the equestrian world, and she will leave a huge hole . My thoughts are with her friends and family.

We were diagnosed at the same time and I rang her up to say well this is shit innit. i have been very lucky over the years to have benefitted from her time and expertise. Last time i saw her was Hartpury 4* but we conversed just a few weeks ago and made a deal to catch up at Badminton. She was only supposed to live until Christmas but beat that and made it to the Maldives. Her legacy will live on in the hundreds of riders and coaches who she influenced who will go on themselves to help people be better horse people.

I think we possibly listened to the same podcast. After listening to Caroline, I renewed my vow (I made after listening to Nicola Wilson) to try not to ever feel sorry for myself.

Thoughts are with Caroline's family, friends and all that knew her. What a legacy she leaves.
